Anjali Cooperative Housing Society Limited Thane(w), which was registered on 11 March 1970 under Registration number TNA/HSG/(TC)/712/70, was formed by employees of Messrs Sandoz (India) Limited. Temporary committee of the employees was formed about Two years before the registration of the society. The committee had purchased plots numbers 20 and 21 from Messrs Ravi Industrial Estate in Panch pakhadi area of Thane city. Construction of buildings commenced in late 1969 and possession of residential units were given to members in early 1972.
